Why won’t PayPal accept my debit card?
There are several reasons for PayPal to decline your card, these are:
- The billing address between your card and PayPal account does not match
- Your card issuer declined the charge
- You have entered the wrong card security code 3 times
- your card is linked to multiple PayPal accounts, or
- You have 24 cards linked to your PayPal account
Fortunately, you can easily fix any of these issues.
First, check your card details and the address you entered in PayPal to make sure your billing address matches.
If your billing addresses do not match, then you will need to call your card issuer and correct your billing address.
Also, if your card issuer refuses to confirm the charge, you will need to call your card issuer and ask them why they declined the charge.
Also, if your card security code is entered incorrectly 3 times, you will need to call PayPal directly.
Additionally, you can contact PayPal by contacting us or by calling 1 (888) 221-1161.
Also, please check to make sure your card is not associated with more than one PayPal account.
If your card is associated with another PayPal account, you will need to remove it from that account and then you can add it to your new account.
Finally, if you already have 24 cards associated with your PayPal account, you will need to delete one or more cards from your account in order to link a new card.
