Customers can only donate glasses to certain Target Optical Centers that partner with charitable organizations. Use Target’s store locator to contact your local eyewear center and ask if they accept donations. Alternatively, you can donate your used glasses to The Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Additionally, The Salvation Army accepts sunglasses and reading glasses as long as they are in moderately used condition.
In addition, Goodwill will accept lightly used eyewear as part of its organization to help low-income people get more affordable eyewear.
What does Target do with donated glasses?
Target Optical Centers has partnered with a charitable organization called The Lions Club, which helps fund local community projects by cleaning and dismantling eyeglasses and selling scrap metal for money.
All (100%) of these received funds go to local charitable projects.
