- oven
- stove
- hood
- Micro-wave oven
- dishwasher

This warranty covers any defects found in the material or workmanship of the product and does not cover any accidental damage by the customer as a result of use.
This warranty is provided by Whirlpool Corporation and any parts or service required will be provided by them.

What is not covered by the IKEA appliance warranty?
IKEA’s 5-year limited warranty does have its limitations.
Under this warranty, you cannot claim any service calls to correct the installation of your major appliance or to instruct you on how to use it.
You also won’t receive any calls to repair or replace your home’s fuses, or to correct your home’s wiring or plumbing.
Also, you cannot request any service calls to repair or replace appliance light bulbs, water filters, or air filters.
Parts considered as consumables of electrical appliances are also not covered by this warranty.
How do you make a claim under the IKEA appliance warranty?
If you discover a major IKEA appliance is faulty within 5 years of purchase, you can easily file a claim by bringing your original receipts to your local IKEA store to discuss your claim.
Alternatively, you can call IKEA Customer Service at 1-888-888-4532 for assistance.
Their call hours are Sunday through Saturday, 9am to 10pm ET.
How are IKEA appliance warranty claims resolved?
When you make a claim under IKEA’s appliance warranty, IKEA will send a team to inspect your major appliance (unless it’s removable and you’ve taken it with you).
IKEA will inspect your appliance to see if the fault is due to a defect in material or workmanship, rather than natural wear and tear or any physical damage.
If the equipment is deemed defective, it will be repaired or replaced.
IKEA will contact Whirlpool Corporation to obtain specific parts for the repair job and begin working on your issue as soon as possible.
Also, for your convenience, IKEA will cover material, labor and time costs.
How should I care for my appliances during the IKEA warranty period?
IKEA offers a free guide on all its appliances with instructions on how to clean them properly, and they’re backed by a 5-year warranty.
There are some specific instructions for appliances such as glass-ceramic cooktops, but for most appliances these are general instructions:
- Have a professional install your major appliances (such as ovens)
- For home use only
