Walgreens, one of the largest drugstore chains in the United States, offers a full suite of photo services under its Walgreens Photo Center.
However, the quality of these products can sometimes be unsatisfactory, so you must be wondering: What is Walgreens’ photo return policy? Here’s what I found out through research!
Walgreens Photo Return Policy
Walgreens Photo Center accepts returns of any prints or film prints that you find unsatisfactory as long as the prints or prints pass the returns verification process. You can return products for same-day pickup in-store, but mail and delivery orders cannot. There is no time limit for returning photo products.

Can you return an online Walgreens photo order?
Yes, you can return photo products ordered online through the Walgreens website.
However, be aware that the process of returning an online order is tricky as it depends on the shipping method you originally selected. Please follow the guidelines below to make sure you don’t run into any issues:
- For same-day pickup orders, please return to the store where you picked it up and ask the employee for a refund or exchange
- If you received your order in the mail, you should call the Walgreens Customer Service Team at 1-866-264-2910 and request a return (they are available 24 hours a day)
- If you selected Ship to Store for your order, you should again contact the customer service team (phone 1-866-264-2910) and ask them to explain the process for initiating a return
Can you return an online Walgreens photo order in-store?
It depends on the shipping option you choose. If you choose same day pickup, you can return your online photo order to the store where you picked it up.
However, if you have your order delivered by mail or home delivery, you will not be able to return it at a nearby Walgreens store. According to Walgreens, “Walgreens store cannot process refunds for Photo Ship to Store purchases”.
When can you return photo orders?
There is no time limit on when photo orders can be returned. Walgreens has a general limit of 30 days (after purchase) for returns on other merchandise, but this does not apply to photo products.
Can you return a photo order to Walgreens without a receipt?
No, you cannot return photo orders without a receipt. Walgreens uses a returns verification process to avoid fraudulent returns. Therefore, you need to have the original receipt in order for your return to be accepted.
If you can’t find a physical copy of your receipt, all you have to do is go to the Walgreens website, log into your account, and find your receipt in the “Orders” section. You can print it out and return it with the product.
