When does IKEA restock? (all you need to know)
If you were to ask shoppers what one of their favorite stores is, IKEA is a store that is always highly recommended for their cheap prices and mouthwatering meatballs!
But if you want to make sure you won’t be disappointed when shopping in-store, you might want to know when IKEA restocks. Here’s everything you need to know!
When does IKEA restock?
IKEA typically restocks smaller products every 1-2 days and furniture every 1-2 weeks. However, this may vary based on item demand, manufacturing, discontinued seasonal styles, and fulfillment center shipping times. To see if an item is in stock, visit IKEA.com and navigate to ‘Check In-Store Availability’.

When does IKEA restock furniture?
According to our research, IKEA restocks in-store furniture (including desks, tables, sofas, shelves, drawers, bed frames, side tables and dressers) every 1-2 weeks.
Typically, IKEA receives large furniture stocks on weekends rather than small orders every day, which is why restocking can take up to 2 weeks.

When does IKEA restock?
Typically, IKEA restocks plants weekly, usually on Mondays when weekend shipments are made.
Also, this may be delayed because IKEA has four seasons offering different plants (succulents, flowers, ferns, etc.), so stock availability may vary depending on the supplier.
How can I check if IKEA has stock?
Before you buy, you may want to check whether the product you want to buy is in stock at your nearest IKEA store. You can do this by checking the availability of the product on the IKEA website.
Simply find the product you want on IKEA.com and select ‘Check in store’ on the product page.
From here, a list of all IKEA stores will be generated showing whether each store has an item in stock or out of stock.
Plus, you can search by city or state to see what’s in stock at a specific IKEA store.
Inventory is updated every 24 hours. However, if a product you want is out of stock at the store of your choice, you can also sign up to be notified by email or text message when it becomes available.
Is IKEA out of stock accurate?
If you go online to IKEA.com and find that your item is out of stock (or in stock), you might be wondering if their online store is accurate to the actual stock levels in store.
From what I’ve found, the IKEA.com website is very accurate in tracking inventory both in-store and online.
When it comes to single-digit stock availability, I’ve found that the numbers are still consistent, even after calling the store to double-check availability.
But if you want to be sure and avoid a long trip to IKEA, it’s best to call ahead.
Why is IKEA out of stock?
For the past two years, IKEA customers have complained that many IKEA products are simply not in stock.
But why? In short, IKEA is always out of stock because it can’t keep up with demand right now.
With more people now working from home and spending more time indoors, demand for office and home furniture has skyrocketed.
As demand increased, IKEA had to set up additional manufacturing processes, hire more employees, and add additional distribution, all of which took time to build.
Added to this is a shortage of wood, which is the main component of most IKEA furniture.
With all of these factors in mind, it’s no surprise that many IKEA products are out of stock.
How often is IKEA’s As-Is section restocked?
The As-Is section of most IKEA stores is restocked at least once or twice a week.
In some stores, shoppers report that the “as is” section is replenished daily!
Shopping in this section, you can find IKEA’s low-cost furniture at even more affordable prices.
However, keep in mind that any product offered in this section will be marked down for some reason, for example, due to missing parts or wear and tear.
To find out exactly what days your nearest IKEA as-is section will be restocked, you can call and ask.
Additionally, customers can use the handy Store Locator tool on the IKEA website to find out more about your local store.
When is the best time to shop at IKEA?
If you’re looking for the best time and day to shop at IKEA that’s well stocked and quiet, we’ve found Monday to Wednesday between 9am and 2pm is the best time to shop.
Also, after 6pm on Friday and Saturday evenings is a good time to visit IKEA after the afternoon rush.
