Who is Shibani Gambier?
Shibani Gambhir, appointed by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy in April 2022, is currently Vice President of Business Development for the United States Postal Service. She has been a member of the USPS organization since 2003.
Obligations and responsibilities
As Vice President of Business Development, Gambhir reports to Jacqueline Strako, Chief Commercial and Commercial Solutions Officer and Executive Vice President of the Postal Service. Shibani will lead the design and execution of the commercial sales strategy for a shipping portfolio of more than $10 billion. In addition, Shibani will directly drive growth through Postal Service’s largest corporate and strategic accounts. She will also drive business strategy across the organization, guiding USPS on how to sell the right solutions built on its assets to its customer base.
Background of Shibani Gambhir
Shibani Gambhir started her career at the United States Postal Service in 2003 as a Transportation Specialist. Prior to his current role, Gambhir held various positions in the Postal Service. Her most recent role was Director of Contracts and Pricing. Prior to that, Gambhir held the following positions: Sales Support Manager; Chief of Staff to Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, Post Office; Network Development and Support Manager, Network Integration and Support Manager.
