Who makes the WorkZone tools? (all you need to know)
Home improvement projects can be expensive because not only do you need all the materials, but in many cases you also need the tools to hold everything together.
Aldi sells a variety of tools and tool accessories under the WorkZone label in their Aldi Finds section, but they don’t manufacture anything themselves. So who makes the WorkZone tools? I have your answer.
Who makes the WorkZone tools?
Various manufacturers including Pulsar, Harper Trucks, Merotec, Keter and Positec have made Aldi’s WorkZone tool brand.since aldi The WorkZone tool brand includes products such as generators, drills, workbenches, electrical panels, and pressure washers, all made by various brands.
I’ll break down some of Aldi’s WorkZone products, tools and accessories, including who sources and manufactures them for Aldi’s own brand. I think you’ll be surprised where some of these items come from!
WorkZone Inverter Generator – Model PG2000is
The WorkZone Inverter Generator is one of the most expensive items Aldi has ever sold, retailing for $370!
It’s a 2,000-watt model on the lower end of the generator, but it weighs about 50 pounds and runs at just 59 decibels.
It’s a versatile and non-distracting option, perfect for when you need power while camping or even entertaining, and the extension cord won’t cut it.
The owner loves it a lot and we can tell because it’s made by the company Pulsarselling generators, air compressors, lawn mowers, power tools, and even pressure washers.
Their products are sold at Walmart, Tractor Supply Stores, Lowes, and more.
Pulsar is headquartered in Ontario, CA with a distribution center in Cary, IL. Coincidentally, it’s just a 30-mile drive from Aldi’s US headquarters in Batavia.

Merotec is headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia, and its parent company, Sumec, is actually an Asian company with headquarters in China and a European headquarters in Germany (like Aldi itself).
In addition to making tools sold under the WorkZone name, Sumec sells them under the G-Force and Yard Force brands.
In addition to the 20V cordless drills, Merotec also manufactures 20V Max Li-Ion drills and 50-piece project kits for Aldi.
Sumec also makes pressure washers, so it’s no surprise that Aldi also sells a 1850 PSI pressure washer. Sumec actually holds a patent for their pressure washers, making them some of the most innovative in the world – not bad for Aldi’s price!
