How do I check my Starbucks work schedule? (simple!)
There are many benefits to working at Starbucks, from PTO to paid education, and they continue to build a solid reputation among their employees.
That being said, some new hires may have difficulty navigating through their Teamworks website and finding their weekly schedule. So how exactly do you check your Starbucks schedule? it’s actually really easy……
How do I check my Starbucks work schedule?
Starbucks employees must now check work schedules through a mobile app called TeamWorks (which Starbucks employees call Starbucks Teamworks). The app is essentially a cloud-based time and attendance management application.
This article describes the Starbucks Teamworks app: what it is, how it works, how to use it, and where to find and download it. We also took a quick look at the Starbucks MPI Information Portal and how you can use it to access, view, and edit your personal employee information.
What is the Starbucks Teamworks app?
TeamWorks is a scheduling application. It is designed to work with all smart systems as well as PCs, laptops or mobile phones. It was introduced to improve the organization of work schedules and to help managers assign and monitor employee shifts.
The app also provides an efficient way for Starbucks partners (baristas, shifts, and managers) to communicate with each other (and outside of business hours).
Vacation requests can be viewed throughout the absence tracking calendar. This provides quick visibility into upcoming absences and allows leaders to make informed decisions about leave approvals.
Starbucks employees can download the free app to any mobile device and use it to view work schedules and clock in and out.
How do I install the Starbucks Teamworks app?
Starbucks employees can download the Intelligence Hub app from Apple or Google Play, or go directly to Starbucks Login Portal. Enter your username and any relevant personal and network identifying details. These will be provided to you by the company.
After visiting your profile, you will be able to view the main features. These include:
- Schedule management
- Employee benefits and discount information
- Appointment scheduling (with staff and/or management)
- Editing capabilities for profiles and availability information
- Ability to mark appointments, tasks and due dates
The dashboard is simple to use and the app can be accessed from anywhere with any smart device.
How do I update my Starbucks inventory?
Editing the availability of your Starbucks work schedule (or any other personal details) is done through the Teamworks app.
First, open and log into the app and hover over your profile name, then click on the “My Availability” option. Using the calendar tool, edit any preferences you need to change.
Always remember to save your edits. Starbucks employees suggest that there may be a waiting period between your submission and approval of your edit. It is important to plan for this wait time.
Many Starbucks employees have reported issues trying to update their availability this way, so if you’re stuck, you’re not alone. Most of the problems are related to the technology of the navigation system.
Employees can find solutions to problems in a number of ways:
- By asking the manager to go through the process with them
- By asking teammates how to use the system
- Watch a YouTube demo of the application process
- Read discussion panels on sites like Reddit (many links to more help pages are provided this way)
- By providing feedback on the app to Starbucks
How to check Starbucks sick time?
View your Starbucks sick leave accrued through the Starbucks My Partner Information (MPI) information portal. This portal is different from (and independent of) the Teamworks application.
The Starbucks Online MPI Portal allows partners (employees) to view their own employee personal information. Starbucks has an employee benefits table that details the benefits you are entitled to.
All employees are eligible for sick leave, and for every 30 hours you work, you can accrue 1 hour of sick leave. You can use it as soon as your sick leave arrives.
There is no accrual cap on sick leave; however, Starbucks states that you can only take up to 520 hours of sick leave per year.
Notice: Where there are locally mandated sick leave laws, Starbucks will comply with local laws and Starbucks partner and family sick leave hours. In most cases, with few exceptions, Starbucks policy prevails.
You must set up an account and are then responsible for maintaining the security and privacy of your own personal information and protecting your data. Once you have an account, you will be able to view accrued sick time.
What other information is in My Partner Information (MPI)?
You can use MPI to view a range of important employee information. This information is private and secure and is only available to you and your employer. It is important to keep your account secure at all times.
Your MPI account contains the following data:
- Vacation and sick leave benefits
- Payroll
- Break time
- Registration (and administration) for direct deposit
- Email and mailing address
- Benefit Eligibility and Time Off
- Withholding tax details
You use your MPI account to make any changes to this information. It is important to keep your personal details up to date at all times.
You can view your MPI information using your personal device (phone). However, to make any changes to your account, you must use a Starbucks device.
Employees typically report problems accessing and editing their personal information. When employees find their information “lost” or “moved,” the most common problem occurs directly after a system update.
Again, the best way to find solutions to these aggravating distractions is to ask employees and colleagues, or head to informational forums and video solutions.

generalize
Starbucks continues to streamline and digitize their work systems. This means that all partners use the same system processes throughout the franchise.
However, it comes with the usual number of frustrating problems, such as the inability to find and view information when needed, or the inability to edit personal data.
But it also allows management to organize and prioritize more efficiently. It also allows each employee to view, track and edit their own information.
