Is Starbucks on DoorDash? (and other delivery apps!)
There’s nothing better than having your favorite snacks delivered to your home or office.
When the midday crash happens, I always get in the car to get some caffeine. But it makes me wonder, is there a Starbucks on DoorDash? Can I save time ordering online? We looked into it and here’s what we found…
Is Starbucks on Doordash?
Yes, Starbucks is on DoorDash. While you can order Starbucks online, Starbucks itself won’t deliver it to you. If you want to have your order delivered to your door, you have to order through a large delivery service: Doordash, Uber Eats, or Postmates (now owned by Uber).
This article will explain how to get your Starbucks order delivered: what services are there, how they work, and what you need to know.
Which food delivery platforms have Starbucks?
Starbucks partners with Doordash, Uber Eats and Postmates. However, there are also Favor (if you live in Texas), Deliveroo (for British people) and Just Eat (from 2021).
Remember, you can also order online through the Starbucks app, and while you can customize your order here, you can’t deliver. You must pick up your order yourself, whether in-store, drive-thru, or curbside pickup (if available).
How do I order Starbucks delivery?
First, if you’re ordering an item you want delivered, don’t go to the Starbucks website. You’ll need to go directly to the delivery service’s website, find your nearest Starbucks and scroll through the menus available on that delivery service’s website.
For example, if you order using Doordash, you’ll notice that the page includes an estimated delivery time, a full menu, and a location bar. The total cost of your order will include the price of the menu item, taxes, and delivery and service charges (depending on the restaurant).
But it’s important to remember that delivery service menus aren’t always up to date. That means it’s possible to order and pay for services that Starbucks no longer offers.
Sometimes it’s best to check availability at Starbucks first, especially if you’re ordering seasonal menu items.
If you use Uber Eats, be sure to check if your nearest Starbucks store is available for delivery. While you can customize your drink, you can’t pay with a Starbucks card. You must pay by credit card.
With Uber Eats, you can schedule deliveries, but delivery fees may vary by location.
What do I need to keep in mind when placing an order?
Starbucks staff remind consumers to remember Where They order from there. In other words, note that Starbucks, DoorDash, and Uber Eats are all completely different (and separate) companies.
This means you need to know which company is sending you a notification.
For example, when your delivery app Tell you Your order is in preparationthis information comes from the delivery company, not from the Starbucks barista (who may not even have started drinking coffee).
Also keep in mind that the delivery app menu may not be up to date. This especially applies when the stock of raw materials for certain items runs out (at any time). If this happens, you may not be able to complete your order, or you may end up changing your order. Also, Starbucks often removes (and adds) items to their menu. Your shipping app menu may not reflect these changes.
There is no way to customize Starbucks handcrafted drinks through most delivery apps. This process is only available (and done) through the Starbucks app. In these cases, you’ll go to Starbucks to get your own drink.
No way to order a drink through DoorDash and then call Starbucks to order a drink. This is because the ordering process is completely independent.
Delivery company drivers are not allowed to open and check your order. So the driver won’t know if you have received the correct item, and they won’t be able to fix the problem.
That’s because the real problem is that the ordering technology, while simplified, doesn’t necessarily communicate between systems.

Starbucks started investing in delivery services about a decade ago. There are many delivery apps you can choose from, with DoorDash and Uber Eats having the widest range of services.
Please take care to check with your local Starbucks that the item you want is actually in stock and ready for delivery. Keep in mind that there is a delivery fee (and may vary by service), and that the delivery service only accepts digital payments.
