Sam’s Club Auto & Tire Division offers many quality and affordable auto services. I needed to balance my tires the other day and I thought, does Sam’s Club offer this service?

Yes, Sam’s Club does balance tires. The Sam’s Club chain also has Cars and tires department, if you hold a current Sam’s Membership. The Auto and Tire Division offers a range of automotive services including all tire interior installation packages that include tire balancing.

Will Sam’s Club change tires?
If you have a valid Sam’s Club membership, Sam’s Club Auto & Tires will take care of your tires.They offer members a range of free tire care services as well as Tire mounting kit. These are all worth exploring: the benefits are good, the service is convenient and professional, and the service is much more than tire repair.
Basically, Sam’s Club offers free tire repairs (and other tire care services) as a member benefit, no matter where you buy your tires from.But your tires must Complies with USTMA (United States Tire Manufacturers Association) service guidelines.
In other words, if your tire is too damaged to be repaired safely, Sam’s Club Auto & Tires won’t fix it.
What is a tire mounting kit?
Sam’s Club offers tire package deals that go beyond tire repairs. For example, if you buy tires from Sam’s Club, you’ll also get free balances and rotations for the life of the tires!
Premium Tire Installation Package – $20 per wheel:
- Be applicable if only Passenger car and light truck tires purchased at Sam’s Club
- you must Have an active Sam’s Club membership
- You must have bought the tires through Sam’s Club
- Includes removal, installation, balancing and new stem (if applicable)
- Also includes roadside assistance for three years from date of purchase
- TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensor installation or removal
- Reset TPMS if necessary
- TPMS reset after “lifetime” service (“lifetime” means Usable tread down to 2/32″
- Road Hazard, Lifetime Tire Repair and Lifetime Balance & Spin are member benefits

Dually/RV Installation Package – $20 per round:
- Suitable for light truck tires purchased at Sam’s Club
- You must have an active Sam’s Club membership
- Includes removal, installation, balancing and new stem (if applicable)
- Membership Benefits: Road Hazard, Lifetime Tire Repair and Lifetime Balance
NHS/Non-DOT tyres – $9.50 per wheel: this refers to the tyres not for highway and/or not showing the points used to guide the tire installation process:
- Only applies to tires purchased from Sam’s Club
- You must have an active Sam’s Club membership
- Cannot be used on tires without dots
- Includes special tires without dots only on rims (eg golf carts or carts, etc.)
Trailer and Specialty Tire Installation – $20 per wheel:
- Only applies to tires purchased from Sam’s Club
- Must have a valid Sam’s Club membership
- For trailers and specialty tires only and a dot
- Includes mounting, balance, and valve stem on trailer tires with dots, or on rim-only specialty tires with dots
Sam’s Club Auto & Tires also offers some independent tire services. Conditions apply, but in general you can use these if you have an active club membership, and it doesn’t matter where you get your tires – as long as they are in road-worthy condition:
- One-time balance and spin (not available for specialty vehicles) – $3.88 per round
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System Reset – $19 per vehicle
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System Installation – $5 per wheel (additional charges may apply)
- TPMS Single Round Reset – $5 per round
- Tire Studs – $9 per wheel
- Seasonal tire replacement – $9.50-$17.00 per wheel depending on vehicle
- Lug Nut Service – $1 per lug nut
- Tire Recycling – $2.50 per tire (membership restrictions apply)
What is Sam’s Club Car and Tire Free Service?
Sam’s Club’s free car service for members is worth mentioning. A range of services are available, the most important of which is Sam’s Club Roadside Assistance. This will last for three years from the date the tire is purchased at Sam’s Club and includes the following services:
- towing
- Flat tire assistance
- fuel delivery
- lock service
- Quick Start
- winch and extraction
Additional free services for customers who purchase tire installation kits from Sam’s Club include:
- road hazard protection
- wiper blade installation
- TIP Balance and Rotation
- tip balance only
- Lifetime Tire Repair (Conditions apply: Tires must meet RMA repair guidelines, tires with 2/32 or less remaining tread will not be repaired
- Air pressure and tread depth checks
- 50 miles of re-torque (includes re-torque of all lug nuts on Sam’s Club serviced wheels)
