Personally, I think it’s just as interesting, if not more, than the current iterations of Blue Moon and Hoegaarden.
That said, it’s definitely a good try, but keep in mind that it’s been renamed White Tide according to some customers, so if you want this type of beer, we suggest you keep an eye out for that, Because it is one of those brands that not only imitates another brand, but may even surpass it.
As for Eric’s favorite, it’s Wernesgrüner, which makes Aldi’s German roots even clearer, as it’s a really good, exclusive pilsner.
Malt and hops are well balanced. It’s true that the aftertaste is long and full of flavor when typing. The aroma carries over into the taste. It’s a great beer without being too fussy and can be enjoyed on its own or with a light pickled or raw meal. Would actually be great after a hike or bike ride.
