Why doesn’t Uber have a phone number?
Whenever there’s a problem, I’d rather pick up the phone and deal with it right away. I’m not one for emails, tickets, chat or anything like that.
So when I had a problem with Uber and couldn’t find a 1-800 number, I asked the question a lot of people have been asking…why doesn’t Uber have a phone number? !
Why doesn’t Uber have a phone number?
Unfortunately, there is no single phone number for contacting Uber Support. Your Uber help network (and resources) are unique to the country and/or region in which you use the service. This means you need to familiarize yourself with local contact information before you start using the service.
This article explains Uber customer support: why it’s confusing, where it is, how it works, and how to best use it.
How does Uber customer support work?
Uber’s online customer support is divided into Riders, Drivers and Delivering, Uber Eats, Merchants, and Restaurants. These categories are then further divided into topics. All services are provided through the app or website, the passenger and driver sections and the app are completely separate.
It’s always best to first use Uber customer support on the website for the country you use the service in, and read up on local safety measures and customer support options.
Uber Help provides resources for you to submit reports and feedback on all your Uber experiences. For example, if you go uber supportthen click driver, You can view all available help topics.click help on a business trip Will walk you through rider problems and how (and where) to fix them. You can also log into your account from this page for customized help.
Keep in mind that most services, direct contact information, and app offerings are not consistent across countries, and not all offerings from the Uber app are available in every market.
For example, in the safety section of the U.S. Uber website, you’ll see current updates, regulations, and safety measures such as mask wearing, driver screening, and other community guidelines. These are unique to each country.
In the US, you can contact emergency services and local authorities directly from the app. This reveals your location and trip details and quickly shares them with emergency services.
Uber encourages customers to follow a process for resolving any concerns and to use direct contact when there is no other solution at the end.

How do I contact Uber directly?
Uber advises customers to start with uber support (all domains) before moving on to the categories and then discussing your questions. You can also click ‘help’ In the driver or passenger app menu.
If you click through to the Rider menu, you’ll see a list of topics covering everything from “help traveling” to “pass information.” Clicking on any topic will take you to a further list, and so on until you find a solution or click the submit button, which will submit your problem to an Uber agent.
You can submit a question, complaint, rating or report, and you’ll get a notification on your phone (if you have notifications enabled) letting you know you’ve received a response. You will also receive an email.
If you want to fast-track the process, you can contact the Uber team 24/7 from anywhere through the Help section of the driver/rider app and submit your question that way.
Alternatively, you can connect on social media via Twitter and Facebook. To contact Uber on social media, message the company or tweet @uber_support. Keep your message concise. This makes it easy for a support representative to address your issue in a reply or direct message.
However, if you really need to contact Uber urgently, phone support is available.

What is the customer service number for Uber riders?
Uber’s customer service number varies depending on where you’re calling. The availability and quality of telephone support may also vary.
In Australia, Uber Support is available on 1300 091 272, 7 days a week, 7am to 1:59am AEST for driver-partner phone support.
In the UK, you can get 24/7 (driver and passenger) phone support by opening the ‘Help’ section in the app and selecting ‘Call Support’. You will then be connected to the UK support team through the app. Riders can also call 0808 189 7190 – but only within the UK. Riders outside the UK must contact in-app support.
In the US, you can contact the support team immediately at +27800172956 and resolve any kind of issues.
Also in the U.S., Uber provides drivers with an Emergency Safety Response Line (800-353-8237) in the event of an emergency. The number will not be released easily so the calling line will not be exploited. If your situation calls for the police, firefighters, or medical team, be sure to call 911 first.
Uber also has a 24/7 local general customer service support line: 800-593-7069. However, there is no guarantee that an Uber support representative will always be available at this number.

What are Uber customer support hours?
Uber states that their help support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when you need it. However, Uber users know that’s not always the case. On-site support is particularly affected by technical availability and quality, and therefore may be difficult to obtain.
However, the Uber help webpage is available 24/7, as is the driver and rider support available through the app. This means you can submit a request for help at any time, but you may have to wait for a response.
But because Uber eventually acknowledges and responds to all issues submitted, it’s still worth sticking with customer support for your issue. In this way, you will receive an electronic record containing your information and Uber’s response for your further reference.
summarize
The Uber customer support system is described on each country’s Uber website and is always accurate and applicable to each country.
The best way to familiarize yourself with the Uber resolution process and direct contact information is to scroll through the different sections and topics on the website and note which categories apply to you as a driver, passenger or both. Write down the direct phone number and keep it handy.
