Should you tip when ordering food from a hotel room?
Tipping is always optional, but we strongly encourage customers to always tip.
Delivery to hotel rooms is no exception. Drivers rely heavily on tips, and some will go to great lengths to make sure your food arrives as quickly as possible.
Since the food delivery driver is providing service, we always recommend tipping.
How much should you tip? It depends on the performance of the driver, but 10% – 20% seems to be the range. For small orders, we recommend a minimum tip of $5, but it’s entirely up to you.

Should you deliver to your hotel as an Uber Eats driver?
In most cases, delivery to a hotel room is no different than delivery to an apartment complex.
While some hotels can be quite large and difficult to navigate, most deliveries can be left in the lobby without issue.
Just make sure to communicate properly with your customers and let them know where the food is.
If they specifically ask for food to be delivered to their room, it’s best to do so, especially since it affects your tip.
However, shipping to a hotel is often very beneficial.
Most hotels are centrally located, so you probably won’t be too far from restaurants. This allows for a quick delivery and you’ll be back in range sooner.
Since drivers are not paid by the hour, but by delivery, this could be a quick way to get more deliveries in less time.
in conclusion
When you’re staying in a hotel, you don’t have to settle for room service. Instead, you can order from UberEats and have food delivered right to your room.
Guests can order anything from burgers to sushi and have it delivered straight to your door.
As long as Uber Eats delivers food in the area, you can place an order to your hotel room.
