While the deals and discounts are geared towards each customer, since 2020, Aldi does offer special shopping hours for seniors.
They said their stores would open at 8:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with shoppers including the elderly and anyone else with ill health in the first hour.

Food Lions has a great reputation in the South, and while most of their stores don’t offer senior discounts, you may find them available at Hannaford, one of the Food Lion brands.
If you turn 62 every Tuesday, you’ll get a 5% discount, however, there aren’t many Hannaford stores and they’re only available in Maine.

The grocery store will allow customers 55 and older to shop at 5% off every Tuesday, so if you’re near Connecticut, New Jersey, or New York, you might want to keep an eye out for this store.
Fry’s Food
If you’re in Arizona, Fry’s Food is sure to offer great discounts on your purchases, with a 10% discount on the first Wednesday of every month for those 60 and older.
Concord Food Cooperative
This is a grocery store that will offer some of the best discounts for seniors, up to 15% off every Tuesday and Sunday, however, customers need to be the owner of the card and fill out an application to qualify for the discount.
This discount applies to customers 62 and older who will be able to take advantage of these benefits in New Hampshire. Unfortunately, there are only two stores in the US.
Discount Pharmacy
This is a great place to get senior discounts in Ohio as they not only offer 10% off groceries, but 20% off all health and beauty items as long as they’re a Discount Drug Mart brand.
These offers are available to customers 60 years and older who can take advantage of these offers on the first Wednesday of every month.
Luckily, there are 130 stores in Ohio, so there’s a good chance one will be close to you.
Hevey
While not very well known, the chain is available in South Dakota, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois, and there is no doubt that the 250 stores are Busy with clients.
If you’re 55 or older, you’ll get a 5% discount, so drop by one of their stores on Wednesday so you can get the discount!
Keep in mind that all of these stores have their own policies, so you may need to fill out an application, become a special member, or need different qualifications. If you have any doubts, it is best to ask the staff or talk to the manager.
