Does Sam’s Club have brakes?
The Sam’s Club warehouse department includes Automobile Tire Division, offering a range of services and automotive retail merchandise to Sam’s Club members. However, while these services are quite extensive, does not include Brake installation.

What does Sam’s Club Tire & Battery offer? no cover?
Sam’s Club car service doesn’t cover everything. They specialize in the tire and battery services your car needs to keep it safe and fit for the road. They do not offer the following car services:
- oil change
- Transmission flushing and filling
- brake service
- Radiator Flush Service
- Tire alignment/repositioning (repositioning is different than balancing)
- Shock/Suspension
- Body/Chassis Work or Repair
- Tire order transfer. This means that it is not possible to buy tires at one club and have them shipped or installed at another club location.

Sam’s Club Tire & Battery Center Services offers a range of retail products including batteries, tires, air compressors, vehicle parts and accessories, oils, fluids, degreasers and tools. They also provide the following services:
- tire installation service – Available through a range of tire mounting kits. The kits start with an advanced tire installation kit, which costs $20 per wheel. The package includes removal, installation, balancing and new valve stems (if applicable), emergency roadside assistance (3 years from date of purchase), scrap tire disposal and many other benefits. Dually/RV installation kits are also $20 per wheel. Other tire services include towing and specialty tire installations, as well as one-time balancing and rotation, which is available to members who do not purchase tires from Sam’s Club.
- Tire pressure monitoring system service – Services include TPMS reset, sensor installation, single wheel reset, tire cleats, seasonal tire replacement and wheel nut service.
- Free service (conditions apply) – Road hazard protection, wiper blade installation, TIP balance and rotation, TIP balance, lifetime tire service, air pressure and tread depth check, 50 mile re-torque, battery installation and battery check.

It’s also worth noting that Sam’s Club sells regular tires and Specialty tires for a variety of vehicles and activities (trailer, ATV, UTV, lawn and garden, power equipment, industrial equipment and snow/winter tires.

Who can use Sam’s Club tire and battery service?
To access Sam’s Club Auto (and its retail warehouse), you need to be Sam member. There are two memberships: Club and Plus.
Club membership is a basic membership and costs $45 per year. It comes with a range of perks, rewards, savings and services (such as cars and fuel). Club membership includes curbside pickup, but not free shipping—only available with Plus membership.
Plus membership is $100 per year and includes more benefits, rewards, and services and benefits. You’ll get free shipping, curbside pickup, pharmacy, glasses and instant savings, access to car and fuel, Sam’s Club Mastercard (with 3% cash back at Sam’s Club), free and add-on memberships.
