Sam’s Club offers a curbside pickup service that allows you to shop online at your local club and pick it up curbside! You select your groceries online (or in the Sam’s Club app) and you’ll get a message when your order is ready. Then head to the club, check in, and Sam’s Club will load your groceries for you!

What does curbside pickup mean?

How does Sam’s Club pickup work?
Using a curbside pickup is pretty straightforward; you just need to remember to check if the item you want to choose is available through service.
To place a curbside pickup order online, first make sure you are a member, logged in and familiar with club pick up button. You’ll see it on the product page of every item eligible for curbside pickup. If the option doesn’t exist, your item cannot be purchased this way, or it’s simply out of stock.
When you add an item to your cart, please check that your desired club location is selected on the item you want to pick up. At this point, you can change the quantity, delete an item, or change the club by clicking the corresponding button.
Next, you need to choose a pickup time. To do so, click on the drop-down list to select the date and time you would like to pick up your order. If a time period is grayed out, it means you can’t use that time period at this time.
Finally, review your order information and click place an order now The wait is over. You will receive two emails: a confirmation email when you placed your order, and another to let you know your order is ready for pickup.
Once you arrive at the Sam’s Club, check in and let customer service know you’re there. This can be done on the website or through the Sam’s Club mobile app.

What are the pickup times at Sam’s Club?
Sam’s Club pickup times are specified based on your membership type. Pickup availability also depends on when you placed your order and the number of other pickup orders placed that day.
During the checkout process, you will be prompted to specify a pickup time. Pickup times are shown in “time slots”. Some will not be available to you and you will not be able to choose these. Time slot unavailable occurs when you place an order too late for a particular pickup, or when you try to select a pickup time that is not available in your membership status.

Why does Sam’s Club have specific pickup times?
Curbside pickup times fluctuate based on demand, employee availability, user membership, item availability and time of year. Pickup times also vary between clubs (for the same reason).
New pickup times can be added each day. You’ll always need to confirm pickup times at checkout – but those pickup times may be different on your next purchase.
The specific pickup time you choose helps Sam’s Club staff process and organize orders in a timely manner, store perishables properly before pickup, and have orders (especially large orders) ready as soon as customers arrive.
Can someone else pick up my Sam’s Club order?
You can order curbside pickup online and designate another person to pick it up.
However, this person is currently unable to pick up the order roadside. The pick-up person you designate at checkout will need to go to Member Services for assistance with your order – they will have to provide some form of identification.

How do I add another pick-up person to my Sam’s Club online order?
Add another person to pick up the goods period online shopping checkout process, it is important to remember that for security reasons, you cannot Do this after you submit your order.
At checkout, simply enter the person’s name, email address, and phone number using the “Other Pickup” feature.
When they arrive at the club, they need your order number and ID. They can then pick up your in-club order at Member Services.

Sam’s Club has one No tipping policy” For employees working on the curbside roster. This policy is very strict and is based on Sam’s Club guidelines for treating all employees fairly.
Basically, Sam’s Club employees are not allowed to tip customers for the curbside service they provide. That’s because it’s unfair to other employees who work just as hard for the same service but can’t do it at the front desk where they usually get tipped.

How long will Sam’s Club hold your pickup order?
Sam’s Club will hold your curbside pickup order for up to 24 hours after your scheduled pickup time. Orders not picked up within this time will be cancelled.
If your order is cancelled, you will receive an email immediately.
Can you use SNAP/EBT for Sam’s Club pickup?
Sam’s Club Curbside Service is an online service only. These orders need to be processed using an online payment method. EBT/SNAP payments are only accepted in-store and therefore cannot be used for curbside pickup.
