How much does MoneyGram cost at Walmart?
Domestic MoneyGram transfers start at $1.99 and international MoneyGram transfers start at $8. One thing to consider with international transfers is currency conversion, which also incurs additional fees.
Additionally, the fee can range from 0.75% to 1% of the total transfer value for all transfers over $1,000.
For example, an international transfer of $5,000 using MoneyGram at Walmart will incur a $50 processing fee.
How long does a MoneyGram transfer take?
If you send a MoneyGram transfer through one of the money services counters in a Walmart store, the cashier will check the available speeds and the cost of each speed.
Typically, same-day and overnight delivery service options are only available for funds sent from one Walmart to another.
How do my recipients get their money?
When you send money through MoneyGram, you can choose the withdrawal option that’s most convenient for your recipient. You can also send money directly to their bank account without them even having to leave home.
But if they don’t have a bank account, don’t worry. They can pick it up in person at any Walmart or MoneyGram store worldwide.
How do I make a MoneyGram transfer at Walmart?
There are several ways you can complete a MoneyGram transfer. The easiest is through the Walmart app. You start a transaction from home, with all the information you need nearby, then head to your local Walmart store to complete the transaction.
If you’re not tech-savvy, you can also head to the money services counter at a nearby Walmart store and an employee can walk you through the process.
What does it take to send a MoneyGram transfer?
You will need a valid ID, the money you are sending, the money to cover the fee, and information about the person you are sending the money to. This information could be a bank account number or identification information used to arrange a cash pickup.
If you’re making a MoneyGram transfer through the app, you’ll also need the bank details of the bank you wish to transfer money from.
Where is Walmart MoneyGram located?
MoneyGram service is available at the Money Services counter in most Walmart stores. However, some Walmarts do offer MoneyGram as a stand-alone service, which can be found at the customer service counter.
