How do I order mixed drinks on the Starbucks app? (simple!)
I always ask to mix my drinks at Starbucks. But when I started ordering on the app, I didn’t quite know how to order my drinks properly.
So if you’re as confused as I am when asked, I get it. This is how you order a “blend” on the Starbucks app…
How do you order mixed drinks on the Starbucks app?
To specify the beverage you want to mix through the Starbucks app, you need to edit the prep process to “mix”. However, there is already a range of Starbucks handcrafted drinks mix as part of the preparation process. You can customize these drinks by double blending or changing the ingredients to be blended.

What is a Starbucks Mixed Drink?
Blending refers to the way a beverage is prepared. Starbucks beverages can be poured (or “made”), blended, or blended. Blending refers to the intense and complete mixing of a beverage so that all the ingredients are evenly mixed and none of the ingredients can be distinguished individually.
For example, the Frappuccino mix is Starbucks’ signature line of mixed drinks. They are made by mixing milk, ice, sauce and/or syrup, cream and a range of other ingredients.

How do you order mixed drinks through the Starbucks app?
It’s possible to order mixed Starbucks drinks online, but it depends on the type of drink you want to mix and how that drink was prepared in the first place.
For example, Starbucks Reserve Cold Brew doesn’t have a blending option at all, while Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso (which wasn’t originally blended) comes with an option to customize through blending.
Only beverages blended during the initial preparation process can be double blended through the Starbucks app.
To order, go to the menu and select the type of drink you want.
Let’s say you want to try the Coffee Vanilla Frappuccino blend, which is a drink mixed during the initial preparation process. You’ll notice custom lists. The third customization is “Mixing Options”. Click “Edit” and you’ll see “Mix Prep”. This refers to the preparation process. Clicking on it brings up the “Dual Blend” option.
The custom menu for each item on the menu is nearly identical.
What does double mix mean and how do I order it?
Double blending refers to the process of mixing a drink twice. This process changes the texture of drinks, making them smoother, thicker, and easier to drink.
Most Starbucks beverages can be double blended, and most ingredients can be included in the blending process.However, it’s important to remember that Starbucks baristas are not allowed Mix food into beverages. This is because it violates company policy.
Starbucks baristas also don’t allow protein shakes (or any other food items) to be mixed into their drinks.
To order a double blend, select it during the customization process. If online selection is not possible, then you will be asked to do it in-store. Remember that this process takes time and the barista’s attention.
In other words, be polite and accept the wait time.
