    How to Rate the DoorDash Driver (Quick and Easy!)


    For many, one of the best things about the 21st century is how easy it is to order meals and groceries from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere else!

    It’s also a very good thing in terms of employment, as there are many people who can easily jump to an app like DoorDash and apply for a job delivering deliveries in their own vehicle.

    This is a good idea and has become common these days, however, customers may overlook how much effort some people put into these deliveries, which is why it’s important to reward them for great service with tips and good reviews.

    If you find yourself ordering with DoorDash, you should take some time to rate your Dasher. If you decide to provide feedback on the service, please proceed as follows…

    How to rate DoorDash drivers

    As a client:

    As a customer, it’s very easy to rate Dasher, all you have to do is receive your order and give it a 1 to 5 star rating.

    Remember, ratings are only for delivery services, if there is any problem or dissatisfaction with the food, it’s not Dasher’s fault, it’s the store or merchant providing Dasher with the food you ordered.

    As a merchant:

    If you visit DoorDash’s Merchant Portal, you will be able to rate your Dasher and your overall delivery experience.

    Here’s how:

    1. First, you visit the DoorDash Merchant Portal.
    2. Select the Orders tab.
    3. You will be able to select a specific delivery where you can view details such as date, customer, total price and the Dasher responsible for the order.
    4. Select “Rate” next to the Dasher name.
    5. You’ll be asked how Dasher offers, and you can choose between “Poor,” “Good,” and “Good.” Just choose the option that suits your experience and choose “Submit” (you’ll also be asked to tick the questions that apply to your experience, and even mark Dasher as “unprofessional” so he won’t receive it in your area Order) .

    If you have time, please make sure you use this feedback option responsibly as DoorDash takes their customers very seriously and Dashers will be positively or negatively affected based on such reviews.

    Are DoorDash drivers rated?

    Yes, every DoorDash driver has an overall rating system based on 4 different ratings that cover Dasher’s performance and customer service.

    Let’s see which specific ratings the service considers important to monitor the experience and improve it in the long run.

    These ratings will then be considered in order to obtain an average rating based on the most recent 100 ratings.

If Dasher does not score 4.2 or higher, they will be deactivated.

    On time delivery

    Arriving on time has always been a top priority for every delivery service, and of course, after the safety of Dashers.

    Dasher will usually receive the order on the app and decide whether to accept it or not, however, the logical thing to do is to accept as many as possible, since the fewer orders, the lower the rating, and the lower the final rating means no order.

    If you’re a client, take some time to rate your Dashers, remember they’re independent contractors, and if they really deserve a 5 star rating, give them that, it’ll help them.

    As a merchant, you can also rate Dasher, and while it works a little differently, it still affects their overall performance.

    The most important thing to rate your delivery driver is, honestly, avoid any issues, in the end, customers just want their orders and Dasher just wants to work and make some extra money, so it’s a good rating system that allows Services keep things safe and efficient.
